County Tutors is always pleased to accept new tutors onto its register. The procedures by which the agency operates are designed to be as flexible as possible, and can accommodate the differing needs of both tutors and students.
Tutors do not pay a registration fee. At the end of every calendar month they forward to the agency 20% of the total lesson fees that have been received. This is the agency fee, included in the tuition charge.
The number of lessons taken per week, and the location at which they take place, is at the tutor's discretion. In addition, there is no requirement that they restrict themselves to teaching only those students referred by the agency.
How does it work?
When a suitable client contacts us, we contact you. if you choose to accept the introduction, we ask you to contact the pupil as soon as possible and advise the agency of the arrangements made. County Tutors then sends you a confirmation slip of the details, and a student return form.
How do you register? We will send you an application pack, which includes our registration form, child protection policy, terms and conditions, and procedures. The registration form must be completed and returned to us along with the names and addresses of 2 referees, evidence of academic qualifications and any teaching qualifications. If you do not have evidence of a current, Enhanced Disclosure, we will send you a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Enhanced Disclosure application form to complete.
